“Outstanding!” Bear's Den had nice curb appeal and was in a perfect location - 2 blocks from downtown in the most picturesque setting possible! Hiking trails were right at our doorstep. The accommodations were delightful, with lots of extra special touches in furnishings, provisions, and attention to detail. Hosts were helpful and always pleasant. There is no place in Jasper I would rather stay than here.

“Perfection.” We had a great relaxing week!! Great deck off the master bedroom. Coffee on the back patio while watching and listening to the birds. A beautiful beach just a short walk away. Make sure to visit the nearby winery and brewery as well as the awesome restaurants in nearby Bayfield. Thanks Darryl and Allyson for sharing your beautiful cottage.

“A very relaxing week on the lake.” We have been visiting the area since childhood and this was the most enjoyable ever. The cottage is perfect for relaxing by lake and leaving our busy lives behind. We were able to keep our boat docked all week thanks to the lift available. The lake provided us dinner on several evenings. Kevin and Kelly were very accommodating and suggested many local attractions in the area. We enjoyed their hospitality and hope to spend more summers in the cottage.

“Vancouver Island Paradise!!” We had our wedding at this guest house and stayed here for a week. The scenery at the house is absolutely beautiful. It is right on the ocean and has a beautiful view of Quadra Island. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio by day and relaxing by the fire at night. The house was very clean and comfortable. We had our extended family staying at the house with us and they also had nothing but positive things to say about it. There is more then enough room for several people to stay here. The owner went the extra mile for us. There were fresh flowers throughout the house, a book with suggestions for things to do in town and things in the kitchen for the guests to use. Anna (the owner) was great. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed getting to know her! She's a great cook and hostess! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have no problem recommending this place to anyone. Thanks so much anna for a great week!

“our favorite home away from home!” We've been coming to Prince Edward Island for 16 years now and since discovering Riverbank Vacation Home, we have made it our home away from home. From the time we arrive, Pam and Terry Macaulay make us feel like we belong. As true Islanders, they are warm, generous and genuine. They make you feel very welcome with kind smiles, fresh bread and a beautiful, immaculately clean home filled with all you need to be comfortable. We enjoy making home cooked meals and barbecues with fresh food from the Farmer's Market in Charlottetown , canoe rides on the river, sunsets, stars at night, firepit evenings and sunny days on the beach. Nearby are many things we have enjoyed with our four children - watching the tuna fishermen come in on North Lake, the kids jump off the bridge and into the water when we go to Basin Head, we enjoy Fiddlers' Sons and other musicians at Poole's Corner, had a great dinner at the Inn at Bay Fortune and use it as our base when exploring Charlottetown, Rustico and other areas of the Island. The area was home to Elmer Harris, Colleen Dewhurst and many artists when they were alive, it has a special feel. It is quiet but not far from activity if you should want to see more. Many birds, wildflowers and friendly people are found here. We highly recommend Riverbank Vacation Home and can't wait to return.

“Peaceful Oasis” We had the extreme pleasure of staying at Patricia and Scott's condo. What a magical place. The location could not have been better. Waking up in the morning with the ocean alongside the master bedroom and then spending the day gazing out at the unobstructed views. It took me an hour to jealously wander about the condo in awe of all of the perfect details. Everything was though of - you could easily host a dinner party for 8 here and not be missing a thing. We have stayed at the most exclusive resorts on the Island, but never have we felt as if we were truly coming "home" when we returned to our suite, like we did here. We have adopted the condo, and I have adopted the perfectly situated chaise lounge for hours of reading and gazing. It is dead quiet, with lots to observe in the ocean... that bay is always changing. We did a short (6km) hike nearby and strolled on the beach. Dug up and steamed clams as well as shucked oysters off the beach and pan fried them. Cannot wait to return! Thanks Patricia and Scott! “Best accomodations on The Island” Our family stumbled upon Two Eagles in the summer of 2010. We planned to stay for a couple of nights but ended up staying for a week. We have been back numerous times since as it is a relaxing retreat with beautiful accomodations, wonderful breakfasts and hosts that bar none some of the most excellent people I have met.
