“Fabulous view and location!” We enjoyed 4 nights in Villa Mirella and loved the location, the view, and the kind hospitality of Marika and her in-laws (who live in the building). The special treat was that Marika greeted us at the bus stop and oriented us to the activities in and around Positano, as well as the restaurants "on the hill." The apartment is quiet and overlooks the fabulous view you see in the photo. It has everything you need to stay comfortably, including an air con in the bedroom and huge windows that open to the cooler morning air. We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends, altho you do need to be physically fit and have portable luggage to navigate all the stairs in and around Positano!

“that's how to feel at home” I have been staying at Napoli forever for a fortnight and I felt completely at ease. The apartment is comfortable and beautiful, with a lot of collectible things. it is very well decorated and with anything you could need during your stay. The landlady is very helpful and kind. Naples is more than beautiful, so rich in works of art and sightseeings. I can absolutely recommend the host and the town.

“Absolutely Awesome! We will be back!” We are 6 friends from Canada who rented this villa for 2 weeks in September 2012 (returned home a week ago). Although the pictures on the web site give a good idea of the rooms and the view of the area, when you walk-in this villa you cannot help but be overwelmed. We were met at the villa by Alberto who was very friendly and ensured we had all the information needed for our stay. Alberto was also available at all times if we had questions or if needed information. The Villa: This place was very clean. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We ate most of our suppers at the Villa as we wanted to take advantage of such a beautiful apartment with all its charms. The living room is the focal point of this apart. It is large and has 2 huge french doors that open to a very wide balcony. Every morning, we would have our breakfast on the balcony. Rooms were large and comfortable. 2 bathroom was a must with 6 adults. 2 dining rooms! and we took advantage of every room enjoying our evening meal in the large dining room with its windows open, leaving a light breeze in. Every meal in this dining room was special! Vietri : this small village populated by warm people who welcome their tourists as if they had met them before. After just a few days, it is easy to make friends with the locals (even if you do not speak the language). The food in restaurants is not only inexpensive, but very tasty! Everything in Italy tastes so fresh! Especially the pizza! In our opinion, Vietri is the best place to have your pied à terre during your stay in the Amalfi coast because it is not a tourist place and you get to see and be part of an authentic Italian village for a short period of time. For tourist questions, there is a Tourist office in the village. There is also 2 beautiful beaches at 10 minute walk from the Villa - Nice!!!!!! Amalfi coast: Vietri is close to all villages and areas that we wanted to visit from Capri to Sorrento including Pompeii and Vesuvius. The farthest was Sorrento - approx 1.5 hours. We had rented a van (parked on the street during our 2 week stay without problems) and we were able to get around without too much trouble. (Driving in Italy is an experience and not for everybody - Vietri has a city to city bus service, local bus service, train, boat service from the neighbouring city of Salerno therefore a car is not necessary). There is a great boat service to Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento leaving the port of Salerno. It is the best way to see the coast. Booking the villa: The person you book from is Bianca and she is very professional and well organized. I would rent this place again in a heart beat! (we are planning to go back in a couple of years and we hope it will still be available)! thank you Bianca for giving us the opportunity to stay in your villa! We will never forget this vacation! “Nirvana - A Vacation to Remember” We arrived at the Villa On Saturday June 29, 2013 and stayed for seven days until July 6th. The owner, Renato, was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions, transportation, etc. The Villa is beautiful and located literally "on the water". The property is well maintained. I brought my entire family of 12. Ages 9 years old to 62. There are several floors inside the villa, beautiful terraces and several places to congregate and eat. Swimming located at the very bottom of the Villa was fantastic and both kids and adults indulged everyday we were there. We experienced a private chef at the Villa for two nights, several local restaurants, visited a winery and rented a 58 foot yacht twice that week to view the coastline of amalfi and certain towns like Positano, Capri & Sorrento. My wife, children, nieces and nephews and grandchildren had the time of their life. The Villa is so spread out on several levels that anyone in your party can escape to a private garden or level. This gave everyone a sense of privacy and resulted in the 12 of us being together for an entire week without any drama. One note: This is not a place for the immobile or elderly. There are approximately 156 steps going down to three levels of gardens plus additional steps down to the ocean area. This does not count the four levels in the house. For the health conscious the steps of this Villa will more than compensate for your daily workout at the gym and will help work off those extra pound from the several course dinners you will be experiencing every night. Because Villa is on a cliff there is only has parking for one small vehicle. Roads are narrow and driving is treacherous so strongly suggest you use private transportation (Renato can provide) to and from Villa for restaurants, tours, etc. You can view several photos of the Villa and our trip on Facebook.
