Amazing place

I stayed here with my two teenage children in March this year. The development is really new and well kept with a number of pools with sea views. The apartment was lovely, all very new and modern. The washer and dishwasher came in really useful with two teenagers. All the furniture is very upmarket and brand-new! The outside garden was lovely and really got the sun until around 2pm, the garden has a massive day bed, sunbeds, bbq and a really nice table and chairs! Its just fab! The local bars and restaurants are fantastic value for money, a main meal with soft drinks costing less than £20 for all three of us. We used the main supermarket about 10 mins away and it is about 1/3 the price of home. We went to the cinema in Famusgta and found out it had bowling/cinema/ fast food places as well as lots of bars and restaurants. I was unsure about staying in the north, however it was such a lovely place and so much cheaper than the south for everything I will never be staying in the south again! I got a taxi to and from Larnaca airport and this cost £40 each way, I arranged this with the owner directly. I also hired a car and this cost £15 a day and the car hire place was next to apartment. I would recommend getting a hire car as its very good value and you drive on the same side of the road as the UK so all very easy. … see more

Perfect Apartment

We throughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment is very comfy & homely and the kitchen is well equipped which made staying in and cooking a really enjoyable alternative to eating out. The pools are fab! We stayed in September and it was so nice and quiet. We didn't have a problem getting space on the sun loungers. I would recommend going for a nice walk around the back of the apartments - really nice little beaches and pretty scenery. There is a small restaurant on poolside which was really handy for nice cold drinks and ice creams during the day. I would also recommend the moussaka and spaghetti bolognese if eating here for you evening meal! Delicious! I would recommend this apartment to anyone! Its the perfect place to come back to after a day sight seeing / lying on the beech or if you don't fancy leaving the complex you have everything you need right there! … see more

Great place to stay with a family

Well maintained villa in lovely surroundings. We stayed at Sunrise Beach Club in July/Aug with another family and had a lovely time. Tony, the owner was very helpful in advice and recommendations before stayed there. Lots to do and see if you want to see the island but it was so hot and with small children we often just lounged about in the cool air conditioned villa and by the pool! Famagusta is worth a visit as well as Kyrenia on the north of the island. Would recommend to families … see more
Luxury 2 Bed Apt with Jacuzzi
Great holiday!

We have just got back from a fabulous stay at Nicola’s apartment. It’s in a great front location at Thalassa Beach Resort, a stone’s throw from the beach, the restaurant and all amenities. The apartment is comfortable and spacious and Nicola was great in responding to any queries we had. The management company there were also very helpful and full of advice on places to go or queries we had. You can sit in the sun at any time of day on the huge roof terrace, or during the afternoon on the balcony off the lounge. We hired bikes to go off and explore the local surroundings and to visit the 5* hotels up the road. There are plans to make further cycle paths from the resort. There are numerous flat walks from the resort along the seafront or off into the surrounding natural countryside. The pool is fantastic and the beach has a jetty with bar and cabanas on the sand. We hired a car and went on a 2 day road trip to the west side of the island. This was a stunning trip taking in Kyrinia and out to the village of Kormakitti - a Maronite village - full of interesting history and hospitality of the Maronite people. We stayed in the Hanna Koumi Boutique Hotel. Thoroughly recommend that one! The restaurant at Thalassa Beach Resort is very good and prices excellent (so we didn’t cook!). You can also get a day pass to the hotels and use their dining and amenities for a change or just pay for a meal visit. The resort is going to have an indoor (possibly salt) pool finished by the winter with extended gym and spa facilities. The shop was extremely handy and we didn’t need to visit a supermarket. The shop will also be extended by next year with a larger restaurant too. All the staff were friendly and hard working. Gardeners are constantly keeping the grounds clean and tidy with constant improvements. Thank you Nicola for a fabulous stay. We can’t wait to return! … see more
