There is much to do in the area. Across the estuary is the pretty village of instow with its sand dunes and sailing club. Or 1 mile in the other direction takes you to the sandy beaches of westward ho!, the salt marshes of northam burrows, and the site of england's oldest golf course, the royal north devon.
