Austria is a country with scenery beyond compare; spectacular mountains, streams, waterfalls, forests and crystal-clear lakes. The Alps take up roughly half of the country, and offer skiing that is second to none. Add to this a multitude of activities from walking to cycling, golf and swimming and you have the perfect holiday destination. In the season besides skiing, snowboarding, night skiing and sledging are on offer in the Alps or the Inner Salzkammergut.
