It is modern, light, bright, extremely comfortable and well equipped. The sea view from the spacious verandah and also from the roof (with its swimming pool) is a joy, especially at sunset. The attention to detail in the apartment is wonderful; there is nothing lacking, making it a great place for a most comfortable and relaxing stay.

“Beautiful accommadation” Lovely apartment. Huge space! Bedrooms fantastic. 2 showers a blessing for the girls! Best place ee have stayed in by a mile. Lovely pool and family atmosphere. Hilly walk back home every evening but no problem. Kept is fit! Home inless than 10 mins from Old Town Square. Would recommend this highly. Thank you.

“Wonderful Holiday” We had a really enjoyable holiday in Villa Francesca in June 2011. The beautiful villa, the garden/pool and the tennis courts next door were all ideal for our group which included our adult children and small grandchildren. The owners were kind enough to put childproof fencing on the upstairs balcony and this, together with a gate for the stairs in the villa gave us great peace of mind during our holiday. We played some golf on the nearby courses and the charming village of Carvoiero with plenty of excellent restaurants was just a few kilometres away. We would heartily recommend Villa Francesca to any family group and we hope to stay there again in the future.

“Amazing Villa” We loved Casa Elli which has been thoroughly and thoughtfully renovated by Dympna and Brian. It has all the modern appliances/tech that most of us have come to enjoy/expect so it creates a real luxury home from home feeling. The bedrooms are all of a really good size and each have an en suite so it works well for groups of family and friends. The pool is a good size for younger kids and can be heated. The glass balustrade and gate mean it is safe to be around with smaller children. The kitchen is well equipped including a wine fridge! In and out dining options mean you can enjoy lots of eating options. The garden is beautiful and looks over the golf course. There is a lovely roof terrace with more loungers and chairs and tables. The location is very quiet but close enough to walk to the marina in about 10-15 mins. If you have younger kids or elder members of the group it can take a bit longer but there is a useful route (along centre of Joao Meirelles) that has been pedestrianised which helps ease any stress away from navigating main roads. For the first time abroad we didn’t hire a car and that was a real plus because not only is it really easy to arrange a transfer (via Yellow Fish) which removes stress of hiring car and driving abroad but it also allowed you to really enjoy the local area. The marina is really nice with lots of great restaurants and Falesia beach is one of the best we have been too. All in all we had a really fantastic time and hope we can return to Vilamoura and Casa Elli.

“A very relaxing holiday, a lovely spacious apartment with with all amenities to hand” We (family of 4 including two daughters aged 11 and 8) had a most relaxing stay in Villa Baia. The apartment complex was lovely - the apartment was very spacious and very clean - the pool area was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The complex is located very close to the Luz beach and promenade with plenty of restaurants for all tastes. We would definitely recommend this apartment complex and area to family and friends and we intend to go back again soon.

“Excellent Apartment” This was one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. It was ground floor and had a lovely big patio with table and chairs and sun loungers. And a gate which led out to the pool area. It had everything, dishwasher, washing machine, sky tv, 2 very large bedrooms with sliderobes, 2 bathrooms, large lounge. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to stay in.

“Excellent Accommodation” As near to the Beach as possible, plenty of very good restaurants within walking distance. The owner is very friendly and amenable. “Lovely apartment, very well appointed” A very comfortable apartment, well located, well furnished and finished to a very high standard. We were well looked after from being picked up at the airport, given a guided tour of the local area, getting a welcome basket of fruit and bottle of wine and getting dropped back to the airport. A well located apartment owned by someone who ares about her guests, really enjoyed our stay.

“Fantastic relaxing holiday” We have just returned from the Boa Vista apartments. The location is fantastic and the views are amazing. This was our first time in Portugal so we did not know what to expect. The apartment facilities were first class. The owners had provided everything you needed for a first class holiday. The apartment was spotless clean and very modern. The location was excellent with a short walk to the marina, beach and busy bustling Albuferia old town square weere there were lots of places to eat and various types of entertainment to suit all ages. My husband and I were very impressed with our first visit to Portugal and will no doubt return again in the future.

“Excellent family friendly apartment” This is our second stay at the O Convento complex; and there were several good reason why we liked it more for the second time. This apartment complex is located very close to many amenities, Lagos Marina is 10 mins walk, Lagos old town is 10 mins walk, Fish market about 10 mins walk, meia praia is about 20 mins walk, supermarkets only within walk distance, including big Pingo Doce (10 mins walk)!. It was perfect. The swimming pool is in great size, we got sunshines all day round. Brenda's apartment was amazing! It was so clean, spacious and airy. The beds are comfortable. Living room was big, facilities in the house are perfect for us. A nice welcome with a bottle of wine and milk were very thoughtful. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and having a barbecue place in the apartment was also what we needed. Fresh fish Barbecue every night! We are a family with a young child (4yo). It was so convenient to go everywhere. The only advise I would give is that the pool is not for under 7 yo; so you either need floats or arm-bands. Luckily my daughter is a good swimmer for a 4year old so it was never an issue to take her swimming there. There was a small play area for your little ones which was great! “Fabulous apartment” We are just back from a wonderful week staying in this apartment. It is truely excellent - a real home from home with everything provided including fabulous views. The location is perfect and the pool although it looks small on the photos is a great size. We stayed with our two young boys and they had a whale of a time. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable including the sofa bed. Shops, pubs, restaurants, the beach, the harbour, the supermarket were all closeby. “Perfect apartment for a quiet, spacious holiday” We spent a week here at the beginning of June, and loved it. The apartment was clean and spacious, loads of room for 2 people, 2 balconies and a patio with BBQ. The pool is great for a lazy afternoon, and local supermarket only 5mins walk - even has English tea! For us the location was perfect, close to the old town and beach and away from the touristy strip - though it is uphill, so you need to be happy to walk! We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

“was perfect last year and pefect again this year” just returned two days ago from another brilliant week at Fishermans Beach Apartment overlooking the old town in Albufeira. Came back for the second time to bring friends who do not holiday abroad. We had a wicked time, was a bit chilly in the evenings but we went at the start of the season so that serves us right, however our temperature gauge was reading 41 on two of the days and all the days were really hot. The apartment had all been upgraded since our last visit, a really lovely fitted kitchen and a new shower cubicle in the bathroom - a nice surprise as we were not told it had been upgraded. Everything you could want in an apartment, full cooker fridge freezer washing machine tv....... not that we used the cooker or washing machine - well after all it was my holiday too! ten minute gentle downhill stroll to all the restaurants and nightlife and 4euros for a cab back up as we were too full up (or drunk) to walk it. As usual from making the enquiry in February and paying the deposit everything was so simple, Phillipa is great, arranges the pick up and drop offs, the keys and instructions, the lot. Barry and Irene are lovely,and do all they can to make your stay perfect, we never had to call him but we knew if there was a problem he would be there to sort it, For a first visit a week is not long enough, not sure it was long enough for a second visit either come to that. “'Awesome Birthday Present'” We took our grandaughter for a weeks holiday as her 10th birthday present. Couldn't find an ideal venue with any of the large travel companies, who all wanted to charge me for 2 individual apartments, since I wanted 2 bedrooms, So we booked the apartment and flights seperately. Everything was great. The location and the apartment itself was ideal. Very close to the beach, once we found the shortcut, with a bakery, supermarket and excellent restaurant just round the corner. Main bus route to Albufiera or Vilamoura at the end of the road. Lovely pool and very well appointed apartment. Just remember that to pay anyone in Southern Ireland it needs to be in Euros, which isn't a problem, but came as a surprise.
