Primarily a traditional Turkish resort, Akyaka holiday rentals have only recently become established as an option for foreign holiday makers. The houses in the village are a combination of old Ottoman Empire and Greek style and maintain warmth in the winter and coolness in the summer. The springs and many eucalyptus trees in and around Akyaka make it a very therapeutic atmosphere and an ideal destination to relax.
