“Fab house - best beach!!” We stayed for a weekend and really enjoyed the house the view and the pool - heated warm and nice. The view is fanatstic and we took a walk to the beach and what a beach - beautiful but to be honest the water in the pool is nicer :) If you looking for a nice place to stay with everything you need and to have a fab time in Simons Town - this is the place! We will be back!

“Great spot to stay” Recently we stayed 8 days at 410 Rockwell and were very happy with everything about the apartment...the location was excellent, close to a great supermarket and walking distance to the waterfront and the downtown. (gas station beside the bldg. was a little noisy a couple of nights but nothing that kept us awake). Building security was excellent and we always felt very safe.Underground parking was vg. Good restaurants are adjacent to the bldg. for evenings when you don't want to go far. Unit 410 was exactly as presented...very clean (cleaned again mid-week) and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Bed was comfortable as was LR furniture. Jenny, our host, was wonderful to deal with and responded quickly when we had a medical issue that we needed assistance with. We would definitely recommend that you stay at 410 Rockwell for your trip to Cape Town.

“Wow!” I stayed at the 516 Rockwell from early March to mid-April. Jenny was extremely flexible and responsive with my booking as I had to get final word from my employer about my trip's duration. Payment was easy. The apartment beat all my expectations. The place was extremely well maintained and clean with modern furniture and all imaginable amenities (washer/dryer, satellite TV, WiFi, safe, etc.). The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning with Signal Hill to the left, Cape Town Stadium straight ahead with Robben Island in the horizon and the Waterfront and the harbor to the right. The Rockwell is part hotel, part apartment building. You have access to all amenities of a hotel including a fitness center with a pool as well as several bars and restaurants right in the building. They even offer room service. Access is extremely secure, the apartment has a dedicated parking spot. The de Waterkant neighborhood is lively and vibrant. The SPAR supermarket is just up the road and several great restaurants are within walking distance. Downtown Cape Town, including Long Street's bars and clubs are 10 minutes away. The MyCiti bus to Green Point, Camps Bay and Hout Bay leaves from Somerset Street in front of the hotel and the V&A Waterfront is easily accessible. All in all a wonderful stay and I cannot wait to return.

“Awesome Location / House / Customer Service” From the moment of stepping into this well kept, clean and tidy and well decorated mansion (calling it a villa by European standards is laughable - Its massive) , we needed for nothing. Dennis greeted us with a cake his wife had baked, and handed over his contact details if we needed anything. Suffice to say he had thought of absolutely everything, and we never needed to call him, although he made sure to check in with us at various points. Tons of bedding, towels, and all the bits you expect from cutlery to pizza oven spades. The villa was serviced daily by two employees! He lives right next door (in the next house) and actively manages the property. The house was defnitely a home away from home, and we enjoyed using the pool, pizza oven and BBQ area. Not to mention the late night pool table sessions! We would happily go back (in a heartbeat) and recommend to anyone! Dennis also had arranged wine tours for the wine estate next door - a very nice touch!

“Sa's Venice” Lazy Island is anybody's dream holiday location. Situated a few minutes over the gorgeous Thesen Causeway and within walking distance of the Knysna Waterfront, the Turbine Hotel (where you can see a bit of history, eat delicious food or enjoy the spa!), Thesen Island is in prime location to just about everything you would want to fulfil your holiday needs. Driftwood was simply a pleasure to stay in. From the beach-like decor, to the open shower, to the adorable fire place. The room was clean and fresh and anything we required either Corlia or Mark was happy to assist us with. Thesen Island itself was a safe place to stay in and we often saw children cycling around without a worry of them being in danger and the residents were friendly and welcoming. Lazy Island provided canoes in their own private jetty, available to paddle out onto the lagoon with and enjoy the sunset (or even follow the Thesen waters around to various restaurants!)- but if you'd prefer to take things slower, you could simply take a dip in the clear Thesen Island water- where tiny schools of fish can often be seen darting about! In short, Lazy Island is the best possible decision you could make for yourself, your partner or even your family's holiday desires without having to travel internationally. Everything you need is right in front of you... Ahhh.
