The apartment is in the 5* Delta Sharm Resort, with its many themed swimming pools and mature, well maintained lush tropical gardens. The apartment makes the perfect base for your stay in Sharm, as it's just a 5 minute taxi or bus ride to Sharm's two main tourist centres, N'aama Bay and Old Market.
New for 2014 is free use of our portable Wi-Fi Hot Spot. Full details are given below, but in summary you can now access the internet inside the apartment or from anywhere else in Delta using any Smart Phone, Tablet, e-reader or other Wi-Fi capable device. All you pay for is the data you use. So, you could take a selfie by the pool with your smart phone, post it to your social netwiorking site and make your friends very jealous by tweeting about it, all without moving from your sun lounger!
Leading off the living room is a large balcony that is shaded in the morning, making it the ideal place for breakfast or morning coffee. By early afternoon, it gets full sun, making it the perfect place to sunbathe. The balcony looks out over one of the most peaceful pools in the resort, the Fountain Pool, so you can relax on the balcony sunbathing, reading, eating or just chilling out listening to the gentle splash of the fountain. If you want a more active day, the main pool is just a one minute walk away, where you can enjoy the many organised activities that the resort offers. Alternatively, you could relax by or swim in one of Delta's other pools, one of which is heated all year round. The choice is yours.
In summary, a well appointed, well located apartment that gives you the ideal base for your holiday, allowing you to either relax by one of the many pools, stroll around the green gardens, or go out and about to explore all the sights, sounds and experiences that Sharm offers. Plus, you can now easily keep in touch and up to date with your online life, although it's not compulsory if all you really want to do is just get away from it all somewhere with sunshine and warmth all year round.

The apartment is furnished in a modern, contemporary style, with most of the furniture made to measure.
As mentioned above, the apartment is equipped with a portable Wi Fi Hot Spot. This works on a Pay-As-You-Go basis. The unit is very easy to set up and connect to (typically less than 30 seconds in fact), and full instructions (written with the technophobe in mind) are provided. Hassle free top-ups - just tell us how much data you need, and we top it up for you. Data charges are very reasonable at 1p per megabyte.
As regular holiday renters ourselves, we have strived to ensure that the apartment is equipped with everything that you might need to make your holiday as enjoyable and relaxing as possible:

Set in mature, well manicured tropical gardens, Delta has a collection of pools that should suit everyone's tastes. As well as the pool directly outside the apartment where you can relax or swim listening to the splash of the fountain, Delta's main pool offers the daily and nightly activities that you would expect on a 5* Resort, including organised in-pool activities during the day such as water polo and aerobics, as well as regular night time entertainment for both children and adults alike. All such activities are free for our guests.
If you prefer to relax and sunbathe in total peace and quiet, the Quiet Pool (no music or children allowed) is also a short stroll away. For those with smaller children, there is a heated pool with toys, and for those with older children the Ali Baba pool with its water slide, waterfall and jacuzzi is once again just a two minute stroll away.
Delta also has a Gym, Spa, Beauty Centre and Kids Club, and again these can be used by our guests at reasonable prices. For example, Gym membership is 100LE (less than £10) per week, with beauty and spa treatments starting at around £20.
At the front of the Resort, which has 24 hour security, there is a selection of shops including two well stocked medium sized supermarkets (one of which is open 24 hours a day), an off licence, 24 hour pharmacy, and a reaonable selection of restaurants,cafes, takeaways and other shops. There is also a CarreFour supermarket slighly further afield in N'amma selling brands that will be familiar to all.
The apartment is managed for us by our local English representative, Sally, who lives close to Delta and who will meet you on arrival.
Please note that the apartment is strictly non-smoking, although smokers are welcome to use the balcony.
A 20% non-refundable deposit secures your booking, with the balance payable 4 weeks prior to your arrival. We will hold a booking enquiry for 48 hours before taking the deposit to allow you to book flights.
A breakage deposit of £150 is payable when you pay the balance of your booking. This will be refunded within 10 working days of your return home. Unlike some owners, we do not wait for you to ask for this money back. We have never made a deduction from any of our many guests' security deposits over the years as they have all treated the apartment with the same respect that we feel it deserves.
The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region
Sharm El Sheikh is at the southernmost tip of the Sinai peninsula. It is an all season resort offering mostly cloudless skies in Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. It averages only one rainy day per year, but being close to the desert it is also much less humid than other destinations with similar temperatures. Even in the middle winter in January, temperatures here are equivalent to an average British summer day, around 22 to 27 degress celcius.
The region boasts some of the world's best diving and snorkelling sites on the many coral reefs that surround the coast in the area. Many of these are just a few metres from the many beaches that the region offers. Even if you have never snorkelled or dived before, you are sure to see some of the world's most stunning underwater scenery and wildlife just a few meters from the beach. If you venture further out into the sea using one of the many pontoons to get to deeper water than the beaches provide, the views are even more spectacular. The experience is best descibed as "like swimmimg in the world's richest man's aquarium."
For those wishing to learn to scuba dive, the area is ideal as the waters are warm and the seas mainly calm throughout the year.There are many PADI approved dive schools in the area, many of which offer one-day dive experience courses (which include reef dives) along with more formal PADI certification courses.
With its year round sun and desert location, Sharm makes the ideal getaway location at any time of year.
The Sharm El Sheikh / Ras Um Sid area
Sharm El Sheikh is a well established international tourist resort with all the activities and amenities that one would expect. The two main tourist resort areas are N'aama Bay and the Old Market.
The apartment is ideally located for exploring both areas, as Delta is located between them, on the road that links the two areas. They can both be reached in around 5 minutes either by taxi, which cost around £1.50 each way, or by micro bus for around 10p. Buses and taxis both stop right outside the resort.
Some of the activities and facilities that Sharm offers include:
~ Watersports, including wind surfing, kite surfing and of course diving (including beginners courses) and snorkelling.
~ Glass bottom boats and “submarines” for reef viewing if you prefer to stay dry
~ Two waterparks
~ 18 Hole PGA Golf course a 20 minute cab ride away
~ Pacha, Little Buddna and Space nightclubs in N'aama, as well as other bars and clubs
~ Restaurants for all tastes and pockets, including international brands such as TGI Fridays and The Hardrock Café, as well as Indian, Chinese, Italian, Thai, Lebanese and of course, Egyptian cuisine restaurants to name a few. Well known UK takeaway favourites are also available.
~ Two British owned pubs in N'aama (and a couple of others further afield). All serve traditional British food including Sunday Roasts, and have Sky Sports.
~ Shopping – an abundance of souvenirs and other items are available, both in N'aama and at the Old Market (or "Souk") if you wish to haggle! Upmarket brands are available slightly further afield at Il Mercato mall down the road in the Hadaba district, a £2 taxi ride away.
~ Bedouin and Shisha Bars – great places for sitting and people watching whilst sampling the local way to smoke flavoured tobacco through a “hubbly-bubbly” (or "shisha") pipe. Or just enjoy a mint tea if you prefer.
Just up the coast a few kilometres is the newly developed Soho Square complex, where there is another large nightclub,upmarket brand shops as well as an Ice Rink and Bowling Alley, together with more restaurants, shops and bars.
Sharm offers many organised trips and excursions, including trips to local toursit attractions and activities,such as Mount Sinai and St Catherine's Monastery (where the original Burning Bush is said to still grow) as well as trips further afield, such as to Cario with the Pyramids and to Luxor with the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple.

The apartment is located a 15 minute taxi ride from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport.
Taxi transfer to the apartment costs approximately £10 pounds for two.
Unfortunately, we can no longer arrange these transfers for you in advance. If you do not wish to haggle with the taxi driver, expect to pay around 200 Egyptian Pounds (around £17.50). If you wish to haggle, the correct fare is 70 Egyptian pounds, but expect to pay somewhere in between, normally aorund 130 Egyptian. We do have some local transfer services that we recommend. Delta Sharm has lovely gardens & pools (12), the view from the balcony onto the pool is a lovely treat, the apartment has everything you need & well looked after. David the owner is extermely helpful & went out of his way to accommodate us. We had a wonderful time & can't wait to return.

I had a very enjoyable stay here. The apartment is on a large(ish) but very quiet and pretty low-rise development, with the villas and apartment blocks set in extensive well-maintained gardens with good local facilities - pools/shops/restaurants/taxis etc. Everything was in order in the apt and it was well enough equipped for the typical holiday stay. I cooked in as much as I ate out. Both easily sorted with cafes and mini-markets close by.
Very comfortable bed with good quality linen and duvet. Very quiet at night! Perfect for a recuperative holiday - which was what I needed.
The apt is quiet with a pleasant pool opposite and plenty of sunbeds. It also has a nice-sized balcony overlooking the gardens and receiving the afternoon/evening sun which makes for a delightful end-of-the-day place to sit.
Very occasionally (twice in two weeks) some 'boom-boom DIsco' noise drifts in from the main pool sound (depending on wind direction) - but they will turn it down in a trice if you ask!
The owner is really helpful about local beaches, local services, and other matters.
Overall highly recommended.

The apartment sleeps more than the listing shows. It can accomodate 1 extra person with ease, and 2 extra at a stretch as we have four beds. Please note that we have two pool cards only, although daily and weekly passes that give access to the pools and other hotel facilities are available from Reception. Please contact us with your requirements and we will let you know the price for your party size.
The keys and pool cards will be given to you on arrival when Sally meets you. For security reasons, the keys will only be given to the person who made the booking on presentation of their passport. The pool cards give free access to sun loungers, towels and parasols on all of the pools in Delta, including the main pool, with the exception of the 4 pools at the back of the complex which are reserved for hotel guests and residents. Please note that this restriction on pool access applies to all apartments in Delta, regardless of what some advertisers may claim.Book
