Looking for a luxury holiday home in Norwich? This wonderful detached original coach house has recently been renovated to the highest of standards by Charlie & Emma, who have been hard at work sourcing one off design pieces and making the property a real home from home and relaxing retreat. Located just off Unthank Road, a vibrant area with excellent local shops and restaurants including an excellent butchers, bakery, greengrocers and many well regarded bistro pubs. The property is only a short walk to the city centre and Chapelfield shopping Mall as well as the historical Castle, Museum, Cathedral and the main shopping high street. It is also only a short distance to UEA if you are visiting loved ones or attending an open day. The property has been furnished extensively and comprises; entrance hall with cloakroom & WC, luxury handmade kitchen with oven, convection hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/drier and all the cooking equipment you need. Open plan living and dining area with dining table and 4 chairs and corner sofa bed with wall mounted LED Flatscreen 46" TV. There is also a small desk. As an additional supplement and booked prior to arrival the sofa bed can used as a double bed suitable for 1 child or 1 adult (extra £10 per night). Double doors lead out to a lovely private patio area with a bistro table and chairs and manicured garden. On the first floor is the master bedroom with king size bed, wardrobes and ensuite shower room. From the bedroom you can enjoy views over the properties natural sedum roof. Please note: the stairs from the ground floor open directly into the master bedroom. The property has been fitted out to the highest standards with furnishings from John Lewis, Laura Ashley, Next and local interior design shops. The property is well stocked for the rainy day with board games, cards, freeview TV and Wi-Fi to name just a few. Linen: All linen is included. If booked prior to arrival the sofa bed will also have linen provided. All duvets and sheets are of luxury standard with 400 thread count bed linen, 650 thread count bath towels and anti-allergy micro fibre duvets and pillows.

Charming property, very comfortable and clean.

We enjoyed our five days at The Folly. Very convenient for Norwich and lots of local shops and places to eat. The property was well maintained and surprisingly quiet for such a central position.

Why can't I call Charlie (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Charlie (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Charlie (the owner) a message.

If Charlie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
