Honeysuckle Villa is a light and spacious villa which can comfortable sleep 8 - 10. There are 4 en-suite bedrooms, large kitchen and lounge with open fire place. The villa owners are nearby to give advice and any help needed to enjoy your holiday. We also have a boat moored at the nearby beach for private boat trips.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Kaya is an unspoilt mountain village and is, in itself, a tourist attraction. It’s population was a mixture of Turkish and Greek until the 1920’s when political differences between the two countries governments resulted in a population exchange. All Greeks in turkey returned to Greece and vice versa. From then the once- Greek homes are now in ruins. Some people mistakenly call Kaya the “Ghost Town” but this is inaccurate as there is still a thriving Turkish community there. The village is 15 minutes by car from both Fethiye & Olu Deniz beach, the most beautiful & famous beaches in Turkey.There is a regular mini-bus service from the village square to these places as well as to Hisaronu, a bustling village with plenty of restaurants & nightlife 10 minutes away. It is surrounded by mountains & forests, wonderful for walks & picnics. The author of 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin', Louis de Berieres, was inspired by Kaya Village to write his latest novel 'Birds Without Wings'.

Fethiye / Kaya Village area

The area around Kaya Village is rich in historical sites. Nearby Olu Deniz is the most famous beach lagoon in Turkey. There are plenty if places of outstanding natural beauty to visit such as Saklikent canyon and Tlos and the famous turtle beach at Dalyan

Visit the temple of Letoon and discover the story behind the sunken temple ruins, then on to Xanthos where you can explore the incredible ancient city with its almost perfectly preserved mosaics. Next stop could be one of the trout farms for a fresh fish and salad lunch before moving on to the magnificent canyon where the ice cold waters rush down from the moutain top tumbling over the rounded boulders.

Maybe you have would enjoy a day of action, hiring a speed boat for some water skiing followed by a barbeque on one of the islands. While the food is being prepared you could work up a real appetite by climbing to the top of the island and taking some photos of the splendid, breathtaking views across the aquamarine sea.

The large dining room/lounge with open fireplace opens onto a marble terrace with garden furniture where you can eat your meals in the shade or relax in the sun with a drink.You can even help yourself to the fruit from the various trees in season.The four bedrooms each have an ensuite marble bath/shower rooms and are well furnished. There is a large kitchen which is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and and microwave as well as normal cooker. The Villa is just right for a large group to enjoy their holiday together.

There is a lovely swimming pool with sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas and several relaxing shaded seating areas in the garden. The pool bar is close by to serve you with drinks and snacks.
