Playa Del Sol Resort offers complimentary snorkeling and half day fishing tours to each guest group. During your stay we will make sure that you will snorkel at Hol Chan and catch some fish by the reef. (Please see below for more info)

Playa Del Sol impresses from the moment you dock at the pier and enter the lush, landscaped grounds, but its biggest draw is that it is only 800 yards from the reef. The unique architecture, blending tropical charm, Mediterranean sophistication and Belizean craftsmanship, is designed to merge indoor and outdoor living into one seamless experience. Inside, the guest house is bright and airy, with high ceilings, large windows and an open-plan living and dining area. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and are air-conditioned. A state-of-the-art kitchen makes cooking a pleasure with high-end appliances. In our boutique resort, we offer a relaxing vacation and full of tranquility. Start the day by watching an amazing sunrise on the pier then jump into the crystal water. Use our kayaks to paddle to the reef. Enjoy the pool after a long day. Our jungle is home to iguanas, hummingbirds and ospreys. Hang out in our tiki bar for exotic drinks and local soul food or take a nap on our very private pier. You will be surrounded by hundreds of coconut trees. During the day you will see exotic birds hunting on the flat water. You can fish snappers, tarpons and barracudas from the pier afternoon time.

When you want to explore the rest of Belize, our staff will help you find the most suitable tours to the Mayan ruins, cave tubing, zip-lining, zoo, the Blue Hole and diving.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Iz (the owner) a message.

If Iz (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
