La Perruche Holiday Gite is situated in the village of Heusse, which offers peace and tranquility, yet just a few kilometres away from Le Teilleul, where you will find all the amenities you need - supermarket, fuel, vets, pharmacy, bakery, bank and a restaurant.

La Perruche Holiday Gite has been lovingly renovated with original beams remaining. It consists of 3 bedrooms, one double with en-suite wet room on the ground floor, one twin room and one single room upstairs.

Upstairs has a second bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet.

The lounge offers a cosy wood burner for those cooler evenings and in the summer months (July-August) the garden offers the relaxation of a hot tub, along with seating area and BBQ.

The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with freezer box, oven, hob, toaster and kettle.

For your entertainment, there is a flat screen TV with Freesat channels, along with some games, cards, puzzles, books and magazines.

All rooms have heating.

A small welcome basket of essentials will be provided for you free of charge to help you settle in, including a bottle of wine. (wine for 2+ nights booked) A basket of logs will be provided free of charge in the winter months, further logs can be purchased from me if you wish at €5 per basket.

There are far reaching views of the rolling countryside at La Perruche Holiday Gite, making it a perfect place to stay for total relaxation.

Just a few little house rules......

Kindly note that La Perruche Holiday Gite is non smoking, so please respect that. Smoking is permitted in the front garden. Please inform me if you wish to smoke and I will be happy to provide an ash tray. Electric cigarettes are permitted indoors. Please do not smoke near the hot tub.

The hot tub is seasonal (July-August) and intended for adults and not suitable for unsupervised young children. It is not a paddling pool so please do not leave children unattended. Please use the hot tub sensibly.

The damages / excessive cleaning deposit will be returned automatically within 3 -7 days after departure. Deductions will be taken should there be any damages / excessive cleaning.

Pets are welcome but must be treated for parasites. Kindly contact me should you wish to bring your pets. There may be a charge for any excessive cleaning or damage caused by pets.

La Perruche Holiday Gite does not have the facilities for charging of electric cars. Please do not attempt to charge your vehicle. The nearest electric port is in Le Teilleul (4km) .

Why can't I call Nicky (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nicky (the owner) a message.

If Nicky (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
