The location of our cottage will allow you to enjoy both the countryside and the city; we are 110 km from Paris, 35 km from Reims and in the heart of the Champagne vineyards of the Marne Valley. The rental of our cottage is always accompanied by a tasting of our champagnes and if you wish, a visit to our press and cellar. You are in the heart of Champagne, do not miss the visit of one of these big names: Moêt Mercier Mumm .... and these two main cities Reims and Epernay. You are in the country of Jean de la Fontaine, discover Château-Thierry his hometown. You are a lover of castles; that of the Prince of Condé will seduce you. You are passionate about the First World War; discover the Chemins des Dames, the Dormans Chapel and the various forts in the region (Fort de Condé sur Aisne, de la Pompelle ...) You want to make a Parisian getaway, no problem, we are close to the motorway and of the SNCF Paris / Strasbourg line. You want to go visit Mickey, nothing easier, Eurodisney is an hour away

Thank you very much for your evaluation. For a staying in our home, a car is a necessity, and book a taxi is not easy like all the people have a car, there is not a lot . We have just one baker in our village, but in Dormans (2 km), there is shops and a supermaket, but with no car it's not easy. Sylvie

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sylvie (the owner) a message.

If Sylvie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
