Located in a 1750's built, Cotswold stone terrace, Hope Cottage is an ideal base for a holiday.
It has central heating throughout and is fully equipped to be a 'home from home'!
Downstairs it has a lounge area, complete with flat screen TV and DVD player, a separate dining area with seating for 4, and a fully equipped kitchen including fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a 'king size' double bed, and the other with two single beds. A full size family bathroom with both a bath and a shower included.
Finally, should the weather permit, an outside private courtyard, ideal for a quite drink or snack!
The cottage it's self is in the centre of the historic market town of Woodstock, within easy walking distances to shops, restaurants, bars and bistro's. Should your taste be, Italian, Chinese, English or Indian, you would not have far to walk! Old traditional 'pubs' are also within metres from the cottage door, providing choices of food and drink!!
The 'Town' Gate into Blenheim Palace park is only a short walk away, with the historic Blenheim Palace and its beautiful grounds..
For the exploring traveller, Oxford city is only 8 miles away, with easy access by regular bus service, or, subject to traffic, 10-15 minutes by car. (though Oxford City is notoriously bad for car parking and the bus would be the recommended way of getting there!)
Once in the city it has a charm of its own, historic colleges, various shops, bars and parks. (It is known as one of the greenest cities in the UK.)
Not far away is the famous 'Designer' outlet centre of Bicester Village. Explore the shops selling famous 'names' at discount prices! But be warned, not only can you save a lot of money on famous named clothing it can also get very busy with car parking becoming a problem at busy times!
Woodstock itself is on the edge of the Cotswolds, so within minutes you could be in the rolling hills on your way to famous old market towns like Stow-on-the-Wold or Black Bourton.
