“Refugio Familiar” is a bright new (built in December of 2014) self-contained cottage built sustainable with eucalyptus logs done by hands. It is located in the quietest area of La Serena beach, a short walk from the atlantic ocean, La Paloma, Rocha, Uruguay.

The cottage has two bedrooms with a double bed and 4 single beds accommodating 6 people. It offers the services of kitchen, fireplace, fridge, microwaves, satellite TV channels, potable water, electricity, sheltered barbecue area, balconies, blankets, sheltered decks, beach chairs, outdoor chairs and table, open living room and kitchen, gardens, hammock and pets are accepted. Also in association with another accommodation swimming pool services are offered, located 50 meters from the accommodation.

El lugar es muy lindo y tranquilo. Está muy apartado del centro, si lo que buscas es tranquilidad, ese es el lugar. El terreno es amplio y la casa muy conformatble.

The title says by itself! A Very nice place for people whose are looking for peace and nature! A wonderful house, very cozy and well made. Unfortunately we stayed only 5 days... ....

Why can't I call Alexis (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Alexis (the owner) a message.

If Alexis (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
