From the owner

A finely renovated apartment in a 1900s building in the heart of historic Catania. The area is that of the Ursino castle, a medieval fortress built by Frederick II which faced the sea and protected the city from pirate raids.

Located on the first and only floor of the building, this apartment offers tranquillity, and independence, and maintains some traditional elements such as the decorated concrete floor in the living area. The interiors have been designed and built by the owner and give us a perfect mix of ancient and modern. The apartment can accommodate a total of three adults and one child. There is a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge-dining area, we also provide a camping cot for children up to two years of age if required. The apartment is completed with a kitchen, a bathroom, and two terraces that offer a unique experience.

The kitchen is full of accessories, pots, cutlery, plates and glasses, and all that is necessary for your stay. The following are supplied and included in the price: air conditioning and heating in all rooms, microwave, fridge with freezer, gas oven, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher and washing machine, fiber optic internet connection (wifi). The fixtures were recently installed (Nov 2022) and are in aluminum with thermal break and have double glazing, with a good degree of acoustic insulation.

There is also: 32" LED TV, DVD player, Fire Stick for watching Netflix, Prime and much more. The terraces are both equipped with umbrellas / sails, tables with chairs, armchairs and outdoor carpets.

Our accommodations are cleaned by professional and qualified personnel, sheets and towels are included with cleaning and supplies carried out by a professional laundry which guarantees sterilization.

We rent in compliance with Law 431/98.

If Self Catering Sicily (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
