Mare Verde is situated in the quiter part of Las Americas but only a 20min walk to the lively area such as Veronicas & Busby's. Great for familys, couples & groups. This spacious apartment sleeps upto 4 and has 6 clean pools inc baby pool. Onsite Family Showbar and 2min walk to the 24hr Supermarket across the road.
The complex has great views of the mountains and gain from summer and winter sun. Short walk to the bars where you can expect great English food and maybe a bit of Bingo. Karaoke wont go a miss, plenty to do all day all night. For those who like to relax, it never gets too crowded around the pools as there are loads of sunloungers for you to use. The bonus is that there is 24hr security petrolling the complex.

The Tenerife region
Mare Verde is situated clos to Aqualand Water Park and 5min from the Beach. The climate in Tenerife is warm all year round with the average temp being around 28c.
What else can you find in an island that has almost 365 days of sunshine and mild temperatures, besides the museums and the "normal" places of interest? The beaches of course!
Tenerife has created some high quality, man made beaches, most of a fine black shingle or sand. These are mainly around the major tourist resorts. Most have good access, meet stringent European standards of cleanliness and most offer shower facilities, sun beds, shades and water-sports.
Playa de las Américas is a tourist mecca built in the late 1960's and neighbours Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje. Virtually free from anything Canarian, this is the place for North Europeans to come and party.
With row upon row of British Pubs, Fish and Chip parlours, Pizza parlours and other fast food outlets - this is a real home from home for those that don't like Spanish Food and want to spend their nights in the coolest hot spots and their days on the beach sleeping off the nights.
Regardless of your age you will be fascinated by Loro Parque. Originally a Parrot Park, it has now grown into Tenerife's second biggest attraction after mount Teide.
The Loro parque is home to the worlds most important Parrot collection with over 300 species, an amazing Sea-Lion show, Dolphin Show, Parrot Show, Aquarium with Shark tunnel, Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Tigers, Jaguars, Flamingos, Alligators, Tortoises, Orchid House, Gambian Market, a 'NaturaVision' Cinema and the worlds largest Penguinarium with a reproduction Antarctic climate within which 12 tons of snow falls a day.
Playa de Las Americas / Torviscas area
Home of Mount Teide, Spain's tallest peak. today visitors flock to Loro Park to see tropical birds, to Tenerife Zoo Monkey Park and to Parque Nacional Las Canadas del Teide's volcanic rock formations. The island is easily explored by car.

This is a moveable fiesta (see inside page ‘Any Year Carnival Schedule) to work out the dates. MARCH
19th - “San José” Dia del Padre, Spanish father’s day celebrations. Easter This is celebrated everywhere but for religious / cultural atmosphere it is best to go to La Orotova, La Laguna, Santa Cruz or Adeje.

1st - May Day. National fiesta. Celebrations take place in Santa Cruz for the whole month. 2nd & 3rd - Fiestas de la Cruz. Festival of the cross in Los Realejos. 13th/15th - Romería de la Virgen de Fátima in Arona. 30th - “El dia de Canarias", bank holiday in the Canaries.
JUNE
At the beginning of the month, Corpus Christi celebrations in La Orotava, Tacoronte, La Laguna, Icod de los Vinos, Adeje and other main towns. 24th - St John Fiestas in Puerto de la Cruz, Icod de los Vinos, Garachico, San Juan de la Rambla and Arico. 26th to 29th - Fiestas de San Pedro, Festival of St. Peter, in Güímar, El Sauzal.

16th - Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Patron saint of sailors. Fiestas in Los Realejos, Playa San Juan, Puerto de la Cruz, Puerto Santiago, Alcalá, Las Galletas. 25th - Santiago Apostol National Fiesta celebrations of Santiago and Saint Anne in Candeleria, Los Realejos, La Laguna and Santa Cruz.
