The Costa de Almeria region

With superb motorway access there is much to see and do in this region whether its scuba diving, trekking, cycling, water skiing, horse riding, aqua parks. There are many beaches in the region to suit everyones taste. Even skiing is possible with the Sierra Nevade region only 2 hours drive away

The larger towns of Mojacar, Garrucha and Aguilas are only minutes away from Villaricos.

The region enjoys more days of sun that any other Spanish region with a winter temperature that still makes golfing holidays enjoyable.


Villaricos / Almanzora area

Villaricos, once a great Phoenician port is a pleasant fishing village; long forgotten, it sits perched precariously between the Sierra Almagrera and the sea. The real charm of Villaricos lies in its old fashioned simplicity and warmth of spirit. There is a fine sandy beach with a pleasant beach bar, a number of cafes, bars and restaurants serving excellent seafood.

As Villaricos is a traditional fishing village that has its own community and not directly a mass tourist resort, it is therefore open all year round and is an ideal place for winter holidays/long weekends without having to travel too far. 3 GOLF COURSES WITHIN 10 MINS DRIVE


How to get there

Almeria International Airport is the local airport for the Almanzora. Villaricos is an easy 40-minute drive from this new and relaxed airport, along the E15, a new and virtually empty motorway which runs through the stunning landscape of the Cabrera Mountains.
If you prefer you can fly into Alicante or Murcia Airports, both are less than two hours away. Again it is an easy motorway drive from either airport to the Almanzora (no tolls).

The ground floor apartment is in a small complex and looks directly over the communal pool, ideally positioned to supervise children. The complex includes a communal pool, outdoor jacuzzi, underground parking and courtyards. Complex has been built to a beautiful modern specification.
