Property for exclusive use

Podere Vitareto is an old stone 350 sq. m. farmhouse in a panoramic position, with a large garden and private swimming pool. The house has 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and holds up to 8 people. You will find Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a furnished loggia with barbecue for eating outside, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful countryside.

Outdoors and Swimming Pool

The farmhouse has 1000 sq. m.of garden, mostly lawn with tall trees, plants and shrubs creating shaded areas, perfect for relaxing outdoors. In the garden you will find the swimming pool, 10 metres by 5 with a depth of 1.2-1.8 metres, with a Roman staircase leading into the water. All around are sunbeds, a beach umbrella and a shower with cold water. On one side of the house you will find a shaded gazebo with tables, chairs and stonework barbecue perfect for outdoor dinners. There is another shaded loggia near the entrance. Parking spaces within the property.

Interior

The farmhouse has been recently refurbished, while maintaining traditional aspects like wood beams on the ceilings, cotto flooring, arched ceilings and stone walls, typical of Tuscan houses. The characteristic furniture also contribute to its traditional charm. The ground floor entrance leads to a large living room with satellite TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi, next to which you will find the dining room and the kitchen, fully-equipped and with a table for 4. A bathroom with shower complete the ground floor. A large stone staircase leads to the first floor with a hallway, a bright living room with large fireplace, a double bedroom with bathroom with shower, a double bedroom with bathroom with bathtub, a double bedroom. A steep wooden staircase leads to a small tower with a bedroom with two beds perfect for children.

Location

The house is in the green Tuscan countryside near the charming medieval town of Rigomagno, in the Val di Chiana area. You have a great view of the surrounding landscape, with its colours changing all year round.

Podere Vitareto has Wi-Fi, fan coil heating, baby bed, high chair, hairdryer, mosquito screens on the ground floor and first floor windows, parking within the property.

Services

The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), a set of bathing towels (for stays of multiple weeks), internet, water and gas consumption, baby bed and high chair, a welcome basket with seasonal vegetables from the vegetable garden. Upon request and to be paid for at the property are cookery courses, hired help, babysitter.

Important Information

Pool available from June 1st to September 30th. Access to the property via 600 metres of gravel road. Small pets are allowed, upon request. The housekeeper, who lives 30 metres away from the farmhouse but completely detached, enters the property once a week to clean the pool.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
