From the owner

Le Pluvier has three bedrooms with two en-suites and one further bathroom (opposite the third bedroom) to accommodate up to six guests. It is a luxurious and comfortable conversion with all the character of the original stables. On the ground floor is the living room and kitchen and one of the double bedrooms with en-suite. A pair of sofas and a tub-chair give ample seating for up to six guests. English and French TV, dvd player and Bluetooth speakers are provided. The fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric coffee machine, fridge/freezer, hob and oven. Upstairs are two further bedrooms. Each has its own bathroom, one with en-suite. All bedrooms have there own fan for use in the hot weather. The master bedroom has views across the courtyard. Please note that Le Pluvier is not specifically adapted for people with disabilities. Les Petites Cigognes is well placed for visiting the Loire Valley, its chateaux and the region's superb vineyards.

The stables were built in the traditional Touraine style and have been converted into three tastefully furnished two-storey homes, retaining much of the original stone and wood work while offering all modern conveniences.

Le Pluvier has its own private garden with table and chairs, sun loungers and modern, large, Weber gas barbecue for outdoor dining, and shares the use of a two acre (one hectare) open garden area beyond. There is 4G coverage in our area and free wi-fi internet access is available in the gite. The 12x5.5 metre heated swimming pool (open from May to the end of September) is surrounded by terraces and fenced for safety, with Roman steps leading down into the water.

Fields, woods and farms dot the surrounding countryside. The courtyard in front of the gite has an area for playing the traditional sport of boules, with plenty of seating available.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Sandra and Ian (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sandra and Ian (the owner) a message.

If Sandra and Ian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
