"Fragneto" is an old country farmhouse that dates back to the mid 19th century, tucked away amongst the hilltops of the Murgia plateau at an altitude of about 430 mt and just a few kilometres from Martina Franca, an old town considered to be one of the most spectacular in southern Italy, well-known for its architecture from the late baroque period and the "valle d'itria festival".

Masseria fragneto is made up of a three story central building, the manor-house which stands out in its white candour next to an outhouse in stone, typical of the Apulia region, which was used over the centuries as the farmers residence and now conserves the heirlooms which once belonged to the owner's family.

Both the inside and outside of the buildings have undergone various renovations as well as it's beautiful 19th century furniture, highlighting its beauty and charm and making it a timeless oasis governed by peace and tranquillity.

The Masseria has roughly 23 hectares of red soil with dry stone walls, 15 hectares of woods made up of cypress, pine and olive trees forming beautiful country lanes, perfect for peaceful walks and bicycle rides and not to forget the 8 hectares dedicated to agriculture so our guests can try our typical and natural products.
