If You Enjoy Peace And Beauty, Welcome To Paradise.

This charming Dalmatian stone house offers its guests a unique relaxation. It is situated in the village of Vela Rudina near the ancient town of Stari Grad, on the island of Hvar. A 500-metre walk through the pine wood will take you to the beach in the peaceful small bay of Zukova, with the sea as transparent as can be.

The whole house is air-conditioned; next to the house there is a parking area for the guests. The house has two entrances, one via the outside stone staircase leading straight to the first floor landing called balatura, and the other entrance beneath it on the ground floor. As you enter the ground floor, there is a bathroom and a corridor leading to the large open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge area, an indoor staircase and a larder. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, and a shower enclosure with a toilet. On the second floor there are another two double bedrooms, and a shower enclosure with a toilet; each room has a small balcony with the view.

Some ten metres away, in its own garden, there is a small stone house. In Dalmatia it is called crna kuzina (the “black” kitchen), the kitchen as it once was, with an open fireplace. Now, it boasts a BBQ, a well-equipped kitchen, and an indoor dining area. There is also an outdoor dining area with wooden furniture and a large swing chair in the wild grapevine shade, a peaceful place for siesta among the crickets and amid the flowers. The guests are welcome to pick fruit, vegetables and herbs in the garden.

The villa would suit a large family or a group of friends who are looking for a real relaxation. We rent complete house, not just rooms so our guests can feel it like their own home

Villa Dulcic has been the property of the Dulcic family for over 500 years now. It was built in the old fishermen settlement of Rudina. The house was then surrounded by lavender fields, olive groves, and vineyards. Wine and olive oil used to be produced and stored there, old barrels and olive press decorated the tavern, which is now the kitchen and dining room.
