From the owner

Beautiful fortressed farm house built in the 14th century with more than one meter thick walls, reminding one of its feudal past. The house was recently restored to include modern comfort and amenities while maintaining its traditional details. Perfect location for a friend-family get-together.

The house is located next to the Fluvià river with panoramic views of the snow-capped Pyrenees mountains. Not far from the beach (30'min / 30km). Many interesting places to visit in the area (Figueres, Dali museum, Cap de Creus, Besalú, Girona, Peratallada, etc....). 1h20´ away from Barcelona.

GROUND FLOOR

From the foyer, you will find the family room with 2 couches, a fireplace and television. This room is a great place to rest and read a good book.

Next to the family room is the dining area also containing an ample sitting area (is like a second family room) with large windows allowing one to get a glimpse of the beautiful countryside. This is where the second TV is placed.

The kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and is fully equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, electric water warmer, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. On the same floor next to the dining area is another large room with a full bathroom and a medieval well. The second fridge is placed there, to give hosts plenty of space to keep cool drinks and food.

The ground floor has several exit ways to enjoy the surrounding outdoors.

In this floor we also find the first bedroom with 2 single beds, the only one without bathroom ensuite.

FIRST FLOOR

On the first floor, you will find a relaxing sitting area that connects the 5 bedrooms.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom (1 with a bathtub). All of the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable while tastefully decorated, and each with its own personal style.

A staircase leads to the laundry room, where a terrace with beautiful views can also be accessed.

We provide our guests with babies, 2 free cradles and 2 high chairs, to make their stay more confortable.

Bed linen and pool towels are provided.

POOL AND PORCHE AREA

Next to the 10x15m pool, a 45m2 porche has been recently restored, with a 7m sofa (relaxing views) and a 3m long table next to a nice barbecue. A place our guests find difficult to leave :) perfect for nice summer vacations.

THE VILLA'S SURROUNDINGS

The house has a 1.500 m2 garden area with grass, trees and a terrace. The house is surrounded by farm fields and wooded areas belonging to the Villa's own property.

The surrounding fields and wooded areas belong to the 40 hectare property along with 2,5 km. of private paths to enjoy nature walks, cycling and hiking.

The Fluvia River is easily accessible from the house where one can choose amongst a variety of water sports such as swimming, fishing and kayaking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Laura (the owner) a message.

If Laura (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
