Enjoy the advantage of the beautiful ash floored master bedroom and first floor lounge with panoramic views. Cozy underfloor heating in the kitchen, with its original 19th century quarry tile floor There is plenty of space for additional family members who may like to join you for all or part of your stay. The open bays of the barn allow al fresco eating and under cover parking. You can enjoy this private location with no immediate neighbours on our small farm in a stunning rural location. The third bedroom is downstairs and along a short decking corridor. It has its own en suite wet room, being designed to help less mobile members of the group. It links straight into the kitchen with no steps. It is an optional extra so couples and groups of up to four can keep to a lower budget if they choose. The best bit is the open space with complete privacy (you are not overlooked and there is no access for others.)

It is very unfortunate that these two pleasant ladies did not have a better experience. They told me they were very "pernickety" which is often a great advantage since they can pick up on little things that help us improve. We are going to change the duvet for summer and thanks for raising this issue. Their misunderstanding of the layout of the barn is particularly disappointing since the descriptive text is as clear as we could make it and there is a video showing the location of the downstairs bedroom along the decking. This self-contained downstairs en suite third bedroom is usually very attractive to people, particularly for families with members who do not like stairs. There is certainly plenty of room for six people, including children. With our four star Visit England Gold Award rating we obviously try very hard to keep standards high. However we did apologize for the fact that the kitchen floor was not up to our normal standards. This was a rare oversight that should not have occurred. We have a reputation for fast response. On this occasion we had a day of torrential rain on the Saturday but responded to their phone call by attending as soon as they returned. We do feel we did our best with this. I know they enjoyed their trip as a whole and sitting on the loungers when they could enjoy the sunshine during a very soggy period. Five star customers whom we can recommend.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
