Glastonbury Rose is an AA four star rated 'home from home', and we are pleased to say recently won a Tripadvisor award of excellence 2014. Close to shops and cafes, it is a perfect location, adjacent to the High Street, for any event, a nice meal out, a quick drink of coffee, or a stroll up the High St. just to see what's going on. It's equally a lovely place to return back to after a long day walking in nature, or attending a course. Perhaps have a quiet meal in, or a candlelit bubble bath. To make your first day of arrival that bit easier, we provide breakfast provisions at no extra cost. It is tastefully decorated to a high standard with no expense spared on beds and linens. Free unlimited Wi-Fi.

There is a selection of films and books to escape in, or learn from, and a very peaceful, lovely energy to help you relax and unwind. Glastonbury Abbey is 2 minutes walk away, and it's only a fifteen minute walk to Chalice Well, and the Tor. If you don't feel like walking, the Tor Bus stop is also two minutes walk away which will drop you off at the major points of interest. We are also located next to the Goddess Temple. Oh! There is a fantastic view of the Tor from the double room! Free parking two minutes walk away.

*We have a fold up single foam mattress for a fifth person at £15 per night, if needed.

We truly care about our guests, and are available at any time to answer any questions or make recommendations on outings or places to go and eat. We are seasoned travellers ourselves, and have a good idea what people want, and have over 10 years experience in this industry.

We know (besides all the extras) the most important thing on holiday is a good nights rest, so have made sure to get great quality beds and linens. And for your convenience (so you don't have to run out the door the minute you arrive) we have basics waiting for you...tea/coffee/cereal/milk etc. We can provide a memory foam mattress, or single air bed for an extra person.

There is a quaint outside decked terrace to sit out ! There is also a good selection of cookware and crockery to make meals with.

*Glastonbury Rose backs on to the Mitre pub. They play skittles a few times a week which finishes by 11:00 - 11:15. This can be heard from the bedrooms.

Please leave the cottage as you have found it. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:30PM on weekdays, especially on the terraced garden.

Children over six are welcome. It isn't really suitable for toddlers or young ones. Love them, but it's not a good fit.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send John and Meredith (the owner) a message.

If John and Meredith (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
