A two-bedroom apartment in Paphos ideally suited to couples or families looking for a summer holiday, retired people planning a long winter break or those needing a relaxing spring or autumn break.
The apartment is situated in a quiet location yet with easy access to shops, restaurants, nightllife and leisure facilities. Venus Seaview is a small complex just 10 minutes walk or a short drive from the local beach, restaurants and bars and from Old Paphos town. And there are excellent bus services to Kato Paphos/The Harbour and Coral Bay within 10 minutes walk.
If you do hire a car the property has its own covered parking space. The main road between Coral Bay and Paphos is just a few minutes drive away so there is easy access to the whole of the West of the island. There is a well-stocked local supermarket , open 7 days a week, just 2 minutes walk away and a larger supermarket just a few minutes drive from the apartment in the centre of Paphos. If you are feeling energetic you can join the gym at the nearby Venus Beach Hotel for just £6 per day, 18 per week or £24 per fortnight giving access to the indoor pool, gym, tennis courts, sauna and steam bath and all exercise classes.

The Paphos District
Visitors to Cyprus are attracted by the wonderful weather, the many historical and cultural sites, the beautiful scenery of the Troodos mountains, the unspoilt villages of the interior, the wildlife and scenery of the Akamas peninsula nature reserve and the excellent food and wine. English is widely spoken and the Greek Cypriots are friendly and welcoming. Cyprus is a year-long destination with a long summer season and mild temperatures thorughout the winter and Paphos is generally regarded as having the best climate on the island. Paphos is a lively family resprt with a large harbour where you can find many fishing and pleasure boats. It has plenty of cultural and historic sights including the famous Paphos Mosaics down near the harbour which are well worth a visit and the Tombs of the Kings which are just 2km from the apartment. Paphos is probably the best place in Cyprus for eating out - from local taverns serving mezze, freshly caught fish or local specialities such as stifado and afelia to upmarket restaurants of every type.
Paphos area
The apartment is situated half way betweeen Old Paphos town and the Tombs of the Kings Area. It is on the outskirts of Moutallos, the ancient muslim quarter of the town. A short walk through the winding streets of Moutallos, past the old abandoned mosque which has recently been refurbised takes you into Paphos Old Town where you can find the fruit and indoor markets many excellent cafes and bars and a wide range of shops including some familiar ones such as Next and Marks & Spencer. The apartment is also close to the Tombs of the Kings Road which runs from Paphos to Coral Bay - an excellent bus service runs aong this road all year round connecting Coral Bay, Kato Paphos & The Harbour area and the Old Town. There are many excellent bars and restaurants in the area catering to every taste and budget. If you enjoy the beach, there is a small public beach nearby at Venus Beach and a much larger one at Coral Bay, about 15 minutes away by car or bus. The best beach in the area is Lara Beach on the West coast. There are many organised tours by bus or boat if you do not wish to hire a car to explore the island. Other attractions in Paphos include a Water Park, a ten-bin bowling alley, a Bird Park and Go-karting.
How to get there
Flights to Cyprus depart from most main UK airports. Cyprus has 2 international airports at Paphos and Larnaca. Paphos airport is about 15km from the property - a 20 minute drive. The journey from Larnaca airport takes about 1.5 hours. Car hire can be arranged from Paphos airport or there are taxis available day and night - the fare is about £CYP 20 (about £24 sterling). Alternatively we can arrange airport transfer for you.

Further details indoors: The apartment is furnished and equipped to a high standard and, with a double sofabed in the lounge, can sleep up to 6 people. It has air conditioning/heating in the lounge and both bedrooms and all bed linen and towels are provided. Both bedrooms are equipped with hairdryers. For your entertainment the apartment includes a TV, DVD player with a number of DVDs, radio/CD player, a selection of books and a small selection of games/outdoor toys.
Further details outdoors: The apartment has two balconies and a large roof terrace with electricity, patio table and chairs and a barbecue. Sunloungers are also provided. There is a communal pool which you will usually have to yourselves. Poolside showers and toilets are also available on the ground floor. Allocated covered parking space.
