A charming two-storey home in the heart of Rethymno's historic Old Town district, adjacent to the popular Rimondi Fountain. The property includes a private rooftop terrace that offers views to the castle of Fortezza. The central bus station of Rethymno and the popular swimming beach are within short walking distance. Air-conditioned throughout, this holiday home comes with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a home cinema with Netflix and high-speed Wi-Fi.

On the first level of the property you will find a spacious living room attached to a cosy balcony that oversees a picturesque alley. Right next to the first floor living room there is a large kitchen, equipped with a full-sized fridge and freezer, an oven with a stove top, a microwave, a water kettle, a French press cafetière, a coffee pod machine (Dolce Gusto), a blender for baby food, a dishwasher, cooking utensils and condiments. There is also a comfortable dining area for the whole family, an HDTV with a collection of DVDs and a sound system for your music. The first-floor bedroom comes with a comfortable king size bed. Across the bedroom you will find a bathroom that includes a walk-in shower and a clothes washer. In the hallway there is a sofa that can easily be converted into a double bed to accommodate additional guests (either two children or one adult).

The second-floor is essentially an independent penthouse, ideal for those sharing the residence with their extended family or friends but still wish to have their own space. The second-floor bedroom comes with a twin assortment of beds, an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a work desk and ample wardrobe space to hang your dresses and shirts. On the second-floor you will also find a private rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy breakfast, sunbathe in one of the loungers or have some wine under the stars, observing the castle of Fortezza in the horizon.

The property is situated in an authentic Greek neighbourhood, in the heart of Rethymno’s Old Town. Popular attractions near the property include the castle of Fortezza, the Venetian Harbour, the archaeological museum and the Modern Art Gallery. There are plenty of restaurants near the house, as well as a grocery store which stays open 7 days a week. A hair and nail salon can be found next door.

The strategic location of the property means you can go anywhere on foot, including Rethymno’s long sandy beach which has been awarded with the Blue Flag.

The central bus station of Rethymno (KTEL Rethymno) is just a 10-minute walk. If you are driving, there are free and paid parking options in the vicinity, subject to availability.

We offer complimentary toiletries, bath towels and 100% cotton bedding. All towels and bedding are washed in water that's at least 60°C/140°F between stays. A hairdryer is available, as well as a clothes iron and ironing board. A baby cot and a highchair are available on request. There is space to store a baby stroller at the hallway. As there are stairs leading from street level to the first floor living room, unfortunately this home is not suitable for individuals with reduced mobility. Guests can smoke in the balcony or the rooftop terrace but not inside.

Guests will have the entire property to themselves. The house has a private entrance and benefits from direct street access.

If Valantis (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
